We’re growing and currently seeking an Accounts and Payroll Administrator to join our Perth-based team. This role suits someone who enjoys hands on bookkeeping and payroll work in a mid-sized business environment. We are open to considering a 0.8 FTE arrangement for the right candidate.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Accounts data entry and bank reconciliations
- Assisting the Administration team with monthly invoicing
- Processing payroll (timesheets, leave, adjustments)
- Maintaining employee payroll records
- Supporting administrative and project tasks
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
- Experience assisting with or processing payroll
- Working knowledge of accounting systems (i.e. Xero / MYOB or similar)
- Bookkeeping experience capturing day-to-day transactions
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
- Strong communication skills and team-focused approach
- A valid Australian Driver's License
Desirable (but not essential)
- Familiarity with time management systems like Project Works or similar
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Exposure to project-based environments or job costing
