With 25+ years’ experience managing multidisciplinary closure projects in Australia and overseas, Shannon leads Mine Earth with industry insight and experience. He’s taken on senior peer and technical advisory roles, geological assessments of mine waste and landform design, closure performance assessment, and relinquishment planning.


Matt Braimbridge

Chief Operations Officer / Senior Principal


 BSc(Env).

Matt uses his 25+ years’ experience in assessing soil, waste rock and tailings properties, soil-water relations, soil profile morphology, soil erosion and amelioration, to inform landform design, rehabilitation and mine closure.


Stacey Gregory

Chief Strategy Officer / Senior Principal


 BSc(Env), MSc (EnvBio).

Accompanied by a knack for data management, Stacey has 25 years’ experience in mine closure and rehabilitation planning. She’s adept at closure risk and gaps assessments, undertaking monitoring assessments, closure performance data and statistical analysis. 


Elis Smedley

Chief Executive Officer / Senior Principal


BEng(AOS)(Hons).

Elis brings 19 years’ experience in environmental engineering aspects of mine closure to Mine Earth. This includes closure and drainage design, earthworks modelling, options identification and evaluation, closure cost estimation, closure works supervision and conformance verification.

Véronique brings over 25+ years of experience in geochemistry and water chemistry. Her skills include AMD prediction, geochemistry modeling, environmental impact assessments, and water treatment to inform mine operation and closure.

Lindsay has 25+ years of survey experience in the mine and construction industries. With a broad range of experience in underground and surface mining, construction and UAV aerial surveying. Lindsay has great attention to detail and takes pride in bespoke geospatial solutions and deliverables.

Dana is a Geologist with 20 years’ experience in exploration, geochemistry, and environmental compliance. She has led multidisciplinary teams focusing on sustainable practices, stakeholder engagement, and mine closure solutions. With a strong mix of field expertise and strategic leadership, Dana delivers practical, results-driven approaches to managing mine waste and environmental challenges.

As our Senior Environmental Geologist, Glendon has 21 years' of industry expertise in site-based geology roles. This includes mine waste sampling, geochemical and physical characterisation, and development of mine waste management plans.

Louisa is a geoscientist with 23 years’ experience as a geologist in the petroleum industry, 2 years as a senior geologist in government, and 2 years in the mining industry.


Louisa's environmental geology knowledge contributes to an understanding of the behaviour of soils, rock and water which are essential components of rehabilitation and mine closure plans

Daniel offers 15 years' experience in Engineering and Surveying roles with on-site experience, Including civil construction, bulk earthworks, UAV data capture and analysis and bathymetric surveys.

Kedhar Adhikari

Kedhar is a civil engineer with 9 years’ of experience in flood modelling and drainage design.

Kedhar has developed skills in software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPA SWMM, ArcGIS, QGIS and HECRAS.

He also has experience in cost estimation, site supervision and project management.

Kedhar joined Mine Earth in August 2023 and supports the engineering team with his modelling, design and project management skills.

A'nan Wang

A’nan is an environmental geoscientist with 6+ years’ experience in consulting and research, specialising in geochemical modelling, contamination remediation, and mine closure.


He holds a PhD focused on arsenic contamination and brings a strong technical and practical approach to environmental challenges.
