Here for over 10 years

Mine Earth was established in 2010 from a passion for mine closure and desire to build an ethically-motivated, world-leading consultancy.

We’re a team of professional geologists, engineers, ecologists, soil scientists, geochemists, environmental scientists and practitioners with unparalleled experience in mine closure and rehabilitation. Our team have been working in the field of mine closure and rehabilitation since the early-2000s and have pioneered many of the leading approaches to mine closure.

We’re innovative and utilise the latest technology to improve the work we do — to deliver pragmatic, practical solutions that can be realistically achieved. As a part of the intergenerational legacy we leave, we’ve planted native trees to voluntarily offset 100% of our carbon footprint.

Our clients’ problems can be complicated, but we never shy away from a challenge. We get the best result for our clients, on time and on budget, because we work as a team and adapt as circumstances change. We read industry research, analyse results, and learn from other industries to keep improving the work we do.

In all communications, we respect each other and do what we say we’ll do. Everyone deserves to be heard, so we listen to our clients’ views and deliver what they need. No one likes surprises, so if there’s a delay or change of plans, we talk to our clients early to work with them on the next steps.

We ensure that our work leaves a positive legacy that lasts for generations. What we do impacts the environment and the people that live on it, in particular the First Nations’ people who are the custodians of their land.

Our service group leaders are are experts in their fields, and we provide pragmatic, practical solutions that can be realistically achieved. We continue to improve our quality by growing our own talent — we invest in our team because they’re our future leaders. We value consistency and have systems and processes to ensure ongoing quality in our work.
